The cutest girl in school

This was officially the cutest girl in school today!! Kelly made her adorable skirt and actually found her cute top at Idaho Youth Ranch a while back. I love how the outfit turned out and I know Kylee was excited to wear it.

This will be her first full week of school. So far she is loving it but I know by 8 pm she is ready for bed--whether she realizes it or not. The days are long but in time she will adjust. It is exciting to see how much she has learned from last year at this time. She loves doing her homework and sharing what she learned that day. I can't wait to see what all she learns throughout the year.

"The" post...

Tuesday night I wasn't so sure about how Kylee was going to do on Wednesday. I could tell she was so nervous. Even Wednesday morning she was..she ate about half of her breakfast and I could tell she was nervous/excited.
We got to school and first saw Grandma:

I have a picture of the two of us but it is not so flattering of me so I am not posting it. Anyways, Kylee kept asking where Garrett was and we finally spotted them.

Ok I know Garrett's eyes are closed...but look at their hands! I LOVE it! Here is a better one and one of them with Grandma:

And a few more:

I thought about Kylee ALL day long! Kelly had her call me as soon as she got home. I asked her what she did (meaning at school). She responded with "I went to 1st grade." She had a good time. After dinner she said "I am so totally ready for tomorrow." Cracked me up. I am so glad that she enjoys school...let's hope it stays that way!

The First Day of School...

post will have to wait until tomorrow. I forgot my camera on my desk at work. I cannot do a first day of school post without any cute pictures!! So come back tomorrow and it will be here.

Before I post this, I will leave a picture of this:

Do you see how close she is to rolling over?!?

Mixed Emotions

I am full of mixed emotions as tomorrow draws closer. Kylee will be a big first grader tomorrow!! Tonight was meet the teacher night...we got to meet her teacher, bring in all her supplies, see her room and her desk. I could tell she was nervous this afternoon. She was afraid it was going to be a bunch of kids she didn't know---I explained to her that most all of the kids that were in her Kindergarten class would be in this class--she said oh ok and was better. She was concerned about being at school for so long--she said "we won't get back until after Carson's nap!" Not much I can do to make that one better! She isn't too thrilled with the child she has to sit next to and the fact that Garrett is all the way in the back of the room while she is in the very front. Plus Garrett is only one kid away from her "BFF" Julianna. Overall she is excited to go and I am excited to see her embark on this new adventure. My camera batteries are fully charged and ready to be used tomorrow!

Virus

This ugly virus Maleigha has is sure taking it's time to run it's course. I called the doctor again today because she has had diarrhea since Saturday. They said the "diarrhea virus" can last up to 2 weeks!! Her little bottom is so red...makes me so sad! Other than the explosive diapers and multiple outfit changes, she is doing really good.

I snapped this funny picture of Kylee and Maleigha last night:

I had just finished reading a story to Kylee and Maleigha was ready to eat. So I was telling Kylee good night and tucking her into bed. She wanted to hold Maleigha and give her kisses. So as soon as I handed her over Maleigha started crying cause all she wanted was some food. Kylee got a kick out of it and immediately said "Take a picture." It was cute.

I will end on this cute picture Andrea took of Kylee and Garrett today:

Fatty McCutie Pants

That's what Kelly was calling Maleigha today...for a good reason. I took her to the doctor because she just hasn't been acting like herself and has had some not so fun diapers since Saturday. She is fine--just a virus. The reason for the fatty part was she gained a little over 2lbs since her 2 month check up...a month and a half ago!! She is now weighing in at 13.2 lbs!! I must admit her rolls are pretty darn cute!

This is Kylee's last full week before Kindergarten. They go back to school next Wednesday. This weekend we will go on the adventure for school supplies. Kylee is so excited to start first grade. I did buy her the cutest lunch box the other day.

Other than that we have all just been hanging out and relaxing. Maleigha is still sleeping through the night so that has been wonderful! Kylee is actually staying in her bed the whole night...most nights!

Quick Dinner

I normally do not shop at Albertsons because they are so over priced in my opinion. Now that we live right across from one it will be hard to not go there. They do have some pretty good deals there so I decided to go yesterday just to see what they had. I found these . Priced at $6.99 a piece I normally would not have tried it. BUT they were buy one, get one free so I decided to give it a try. I picked up the Beef Tips and the Salisbury Steak. I cooked the Beef Tips one tonight...SO good! Kylee even enjoyed it. It is so so easy to make too! It cooks in 4 minutes if it is thawed and about 8 if it is frozen. You just toss it in the microwave and it's done in no time. I served ours over noodles and with green beans. Kylee even asked if we could have it for dinner tomorrow. I want to go back and grab a few more while they are still on sale.

Back in action

I finally hooked up my computer tonight. I had to give my computer desk away because I just did not have the room for it. So I went a little ghetto and my computer is sitting on my bedroom floor. Actually the monitor is on a rubber maid...even better!

We had a wonderful visit with Binga. I was sad because I was not able to take any days off other than the 4th. I enjoyed the time we were able to spend with her though. Her visits are always fun. We also had a good time celebrating Garrett's 6th birthday! As usual...Kelly did an awesome job with his party. I have added 2 albums to the side to show what a fun time we had.

Binga left early Sunday morning. We skipped church. Kylee went to her dad's for the day. Andrea came over after church and helped me unpack...thank you so much! She organized the kitchen for me and it looks awesome. Now I just have to finish my room and the girls' room.

I am off to stalk some blogs..something I haven't been able to do in a while and then off to bed!

The update...

First I will start with saying this little girl is 3 months old:

She is such a good baby. She has slept throught the night the past 2 nights. I am hoping that continues.

Despite the obstacles (U-Haul calling me Friday night at 7pm to tell me that I don't have a truck anymore, my fridge not working, my front door not locking correctly) we finally got moved this weekend. Thank you to my family who helped me out this past weekend. I appreciate all the help!

My computer still isn't hooked up so that is why I haven't blogged in a while. I will get it hooked up one of these days. :0)

Other than moving and working, we have all been enjoying our visit with Binga. I will be back to post more on our visit with her!
