Hooray! It is the last day of May!! Now I am taking a little break from blogging, but have no fear, it won't be a long break!!

May 30th

I am so glad there is only one day left in May. Not so sure I will sign up for this again next May! Today we spent the day with my friend Crystal. Baby Jude is due June 13th but she was put on bed rest until she has him. So we kept her company today. As the day went on, I think we may have caused her more stress than anything. :0) It was a good day and it was fun to just have a low key day. Can't wait until baby Jude is here!!

May 29th

Ooops, I forgot to post yesterday. We enjoyed a fun day with Christy and Ethan. We took the kids to the MK Nature Center, had a picnic, and attempted to play at the park...along with hundreds of other kids. There were a couple of schools there on field trips and I think the schools forgot they were supposed to be watching the kids. The kids were not being very nice and you couldn't find their adult supervision for anything so we left. It was still a fun outing. Click on this link to view a few pictures:

May 28th

Today was a good day. I haven't been feeling all that hot since last night and Kylee woke up not feeling too hot, but we still had a fun day. Neither of us ate much today but I think being busy kept our minds off us not feeling good. We started out with my follow up eye appt, then attempted to eat some lunch (which neither of us ate). We then met my friend Katee and the two girls she babysits and went to a park by her house and played. After that we went to Andrea's and the kids played in the pool and used the slip and slide Kylee got for her birthday. The kids had a blast. We stayed for dinner, Kylee actually ate, I did not, neither did M. After dinner we took the kids to ice cream. Kylee ate some, I did too, so did M. I regret eating it. Anyways, it was a fun day and I am glad I got to spend the day with my girls.

May 27th

My parents built the kids a sandbox and it was ready for them to play in last night. They LOVED it! Here are some pictures:

May 26th

And it's gone...

As I said a few posts ago, Kylee lost her 3rd tooth on Sunday. She was at her dad's this weekend and she said it was bothering her while she was eating breakfast so she just twisted it and pulled it out. She looks so cute with it missing!

May 25th

We had a pretty relaxing day. Maleigha still isn't 100% but she is getting there. She had a hard time waking up this morning, but that meant I got to sleep in..until 845! Once we did roll out of bed, we went on a 3 mile walk. She LOVES being outside. We came home, ate breakfast, showered. I looked around at all the cleaning I needed to do and decided to leave. We headed out to my parents house so I could clean the car..inside and out. Maleigha loves her grandma and Bob. We had a great afternoon. We left after dinner and M fell asleep on the way home. She woke up at 8, took a quick bath and fell right back to sleep. Poor baby. Here are a few pictures from today.

May 23rd and May 24th

Oops I missed a day. I knew I did, but I really could not think of one single thing to post about yesterday. So I didn't. Not that I have a lot to talk about today but here are a few things:

*I am so glad tomorrow is a holiday and I don't work. But I am even happier that I only work Tuesday and Wednesday of this coming week! Woo hoo!!

*Kylee is at her dad's this weekend but she called me this morning to tell me she finally lost her tooth! She said it was bothering her as she was eating (it kept moving to the side) so she just pulled it. She was SO excited! I am bummed I missed it but glad it finally came out!

*Little Miss M woke up at 245 this morning with a belly ache. She threw up 3 times. This was her first time actually throwing up and I felt so bad for her. We finally fell back to sleep sometime around 4-430 this morning. She seems to be doing better now, still no real appetite but no more throwing up so that is good.

* I have started to pack. I went through my closet Friday night. I brought quite a few bags full of clothes to Goodwill Saturday. I also dropped off some of Kylee's old clothes and Maleigha's Bumbo at Kidz Again. It is like Other Mother's but is in Meridian. It is a nice store. I was able to get $60 store credit for my items. I wasn't expecting that much but I am not complaining! Today I started to go through Kylee's closet, I am pretty much almost done with that. I just need to put her room back together now.

May 22nd

Let's just say I am SO glad today is over and the 3 day weekend has started. Today was one crazy day at work. I am so glad to have some days off and just relax...well sort of relax. I am going to start packing now for our move. The house will be open for us to move into in just a few weeks so I am going to slowly move stuff over. My apartment lease isn't up until the end of June but I hope to be out of here before then. I love our apartment but I can't wait to move.

May 21st

This blogging every day in May is becoming really hard. I am running out of things to say and wonder if anyone is even paying attention anymore!
I really don't have anything to write about today. I am excited for the upcoming 3 day weekend and even more excited about the fact I only have to work Tuesday and Wednesday next week! Kylee got home Tuesday night but left tonight to go to her dad's until Tuesday. I took Thursday and Friday off work to spend time with her. We are both excited about those days!!
As for this weekend, Maleigha and I plan on having a low key weekend, which is always nice!

May 20th

For my weigh in today, I was down 1.2. I thought it would be more, but I am still happy I lost. I did make my goal that I set last week, and that was to start exercising again. I exercised 3 days last week. This week my goal is to exercise 5 days and be down 2 pounds next week.

May 19th

She is home!! I am SO excited to have my Kylee Bean back home! She did have a great time and I am glad she was able to go. Thanks again Mike and Kelly! Kylee did come home with half of one of her top teeth barely hanging on! She let me try to pull it but I didn't get it on the first pull and she wouldn't let me try again! It will be out any day!

Maleigha is happy to have her sister home too:

Kylee was sharing her sucker with Maleigha. She LOVED it! I captured it on video too. I love how excited Maleigha gets and Kylee's laugh.

May 18th

I am SO ready for this girl to come home!! She will be home tomorrow afternoon. Maleigha and I can't wait! Thank you Mike and Kelly for letting her tag along. I know she had a blast!

May 17th

Today was another good day! We didn't do much, but those are some of the best days. We woke up around 630, me waking up that early on the weekend was not by choice. I did my work out, got ready for church, and we actually had some extra time to kill before we had to leave. So I grabbed my camera and started taking some pictures of Maleigha and me.

May 16th

Today was a good day.
It started out at 715 am.

I worked out doing this DVD. It felt good.
I showered, brought Maleigha over to Andrea's, and went and got my nails done.

Went back to Andrea's and enjoyed lunch at Baja Fresh and a short stop at the Train Depot.

Ran to some stores with Andrea.

Went to Sushi for dinner with my friend Siera. Yummy!

Went back to Andrea's and attempted her walk/run route but I had to cut it short to super bad shin splints.

Took Andrea over to the house we are moving into next month.

Now I am home and relaxing with some freshly painted toes...and allergies.

Another thing that made my day so good, getting these in my email this morning:

May 15th

Ahhhhhhhh, it is finally Friday!! This week hasn't been bad, it has just been long! I am ready for the nice weekend that is in store!
I snapped a couple of pictures of Maleigha this morning. Little Miss M has developed quite the attitude lately, I hope it is a phase that ends quick!!

May 14th

This morning I told Kylee I was going to miss her while she is in Oregon. I asked her if she was going to miss me. She sat there for a minute and then said "Well I get to go down this big shoe slide at the store." I took that as a not really mom.

Speaking of Kylee, last night before I went to bed, I went to turn off her night light and this is what I saw when I walked into her room:

How uncomfortable does that look?!? I left her but I took the blanket off her head. But this picutre makes me laugh!!

May 13th

I woke up today thinking it was Thursday. I was SO happy because that would mean tomorrow is Friday. I was pretty bummed when I realized it was only Wednesday.

For my weigh in today I was the same as last week. Not what I wanted but better than gaining. I have really slacked on exercising so that is my main goal for this week.

Kylee is now on track break for the next 3 1/2 weeks. She leaves for Oregon tomorrow with the Munger family. She is SO excited and I am thankful they allow her to come along. I always miss her when she is gone. Knowing she is having a good time makes it a little easier. There is also another little girl who misses her when she is gone. I love watching Maleigha's face when she sees Kylee again. They are so cute together.

Speaking of Kylee, she was putting her pajamas on last night. She told me that sometimes when she is at her dad's she smells her pajamas and they smell like me and it makes her think of me. How sweet is that??!?

May 12

I have spent that last 3 hours, yes 3 hours, glued to my tv! I was watching The Biggest Loser finale. I was so rooting for Mike, but since he didn't win, I am glad Tara didn't either. Something about her just bugs me. I was SO excited when Jerry won the at home prize. Hey did you know he is 64 years old??? Kelly and I do!

Anyways, for all of you Biggest Loser fans, who were you rooting for?

May 11

Today started off yucky. I woke up at 6, planning on working out, but that all changed when I had a HORRIBLE headache. Instead of getting up right then to take something, I went back to sleep. I woke up again at 7 still in pain. I finally took something and attempted to get ready for the day. I haven't had a headache like this in a long time but it was one that made me sick to my stomach. My ibuprofen took a little over an hour to make a difference, but once it kicked in, I was good to go. Luckily that didn't set the tone for the day. I had a pretty good day. Due to some staffing issues, I have been working late on Mondays for over a month now. It is good for me to actually work a desk and be in the mix with the staff. Although I hate getting home late, I do enjoy working the other side of things for a change.

Kylee is heading to Oregon with Kelly at the end of this week and she couldn't be more excited! I hate seeing her go, but I know she has a good time so it makes it a little easier. Thankfully they won't be gone that long. While she is gone, I have high hopes of cleaning out her room and getting rid of a lot of her junk. She is one who loves to hold onto EVERYTHING! I try and sneak stuff into the garbage, but then I see it sitting on the counter later. We are moving in 7 weeks, and I don't want to take everything with us. It is easier to toss it when she isn't here and can't dig it out of the trash!

Speaking of our move, I am looking for a cheap but reliable washer/dryer. I am checking out Craig's List, but if anyone knows of one, please let me know!!

May 10th

Happy Mother's Day!

I am thankful for my mom and am thankful to be a mom! I am a proud mom to the two best girls! I am so thankful for them!

The girls gave me a "fabulous" pair of pajamas, they are really cute. Kylee also made me a sweet card at school. This is what it said:

Dear Mom,

I like the way you look. I like the way you cook. What I really want to say is Happy Mother's Day!

She also had a fill in the blanks paper about me. Those always scare me!

Kylee's Mom:

My mom's name is Kimberly. She is the most kindest mom in the whole world. Her favorite color is pink. She is 13 feet tall and weighs 15 pounds (I wish!!). She is really good at cooking. She always tells me to kiss her at night. I know she loves me when she kiss's me. I wouldn't trade my mom for anything.

So sweet! We had a great day that started with church, yummy BBQ with the family, then I actually came home and did some cleaning. Funny story, I was mopping and Kylee asked why I was doing so much cleaning (I normally do my deep cleaning when she isn't here) and I said it just needed to be done. She asked if someone was coming over and I said no. She said well why are you doing that (mopping), is someone really special coming over? Silly kid!! We had a great day!

May 9th

My day started about 630 this morning. I got up, got ready, and walked out the door around 750. I headed downtown with thousands of other people to take part in the Race for the Cure. I love doing this race. I did it with a group of gals from work and we had a great time.

Maleigha fell asleep right after we crossed the start line and woke up right before we crossed the finish line.

After the race I ran an errand then went to help my friends Crystal and Jason move. I love their new house and am very excited for them. I can't wait until we move. 7 more weeks!

May 8th

In response to a few complaints regarding my last two "posts," I will attempt to make this one a tad longer than the others.

Kylee c.r.a.c.k.s me up! She is a funny kid. Here are two funny Kylee stories from last night and this morning.

*So last night I was getting Kylee ready for bed. Maleigha was crawling around the room and I heard Kylee say something about her toothbrush, then something about Maleigha. I really wasn't paying too much attention. Until I happened to look down at Maleigha. Her little patch of hair on top was perfectly straight and a tad wet. So I had to say "Kylee did you seriously comb your sister's hair with your toothbrush??" Kylee giggled and said ha ha yeah. I couldn't help but laugh as I walked out of the room.

*This morning as I was getting ready both girls were up. I was walking down the hall when I hear, "Look mommy I can walk" I thought uh-oh and looked to see what Kylee was up to. I see this:

I said, "Kylee be careful with her." Kylee's response "Ok Maleigha are you ready to learn how to run?"

*Ok I have to share this last story that her dad shared with me. She was at his house a few weekends ago. He was watching a NBA game and she wanted to play a game with him. He said he would once the game was over. She asked him who was playing. L.A. and Utah. She asked who he wanted to win. He told her the Lakers and asked who she wanted to win. She said the team with the most points, which was Utah at that time. She asked again if he would play a game with her. He said not right now. She said "Go Utah."

There is never a dull moment with her around!

May 7th

May 6th

I was down 1.4 for my weigh in today. So that puts me at 3 lbs for the past 2 weeks. I will take that! My goal for this week is to be down 2 pounds so I hit the 5 lb mark.

May 5th

Now I know why I don't blog every day. Believe it or not, I don't have that much to say. Today was a much better day. I had a 7am meeting this morning so I got off early. The girls and I went on a walk, made dinner, and then spent the rest of the evening together. It was good. I didn't get to see them much yesterday so it was nice to be able to spend more time with them.

Anyone else a Biggest Loser fan? If so, anyone else a bit saddened by the final 2? I am!! I so want Mike to win. I hope he is brought back by the votes and beats both those girls!

Ok enough rambling, I am off to bed..early!

May 4th

So far, so good!

Today was a not so good day. It started a 510 this morning and I will just leave it at saying I am glad to be home and glad tomorrow is a new day!

But two things that make me oh so happy:

These two girls sure make my day better! Love them!

So Saturday night Kylee spent the night at my parents and so Sunday morning it was just M and I. I got us both ready for church and had a few minutes to spare so I snapped a few pictures of M. She was cracking me up! The one above is my favorite! Here are a few more:

May 3rd

Happy Birthday to my sweet 7 year old!!

Today was spent celebrating Kylee. I can't believe that she is 7 already! I love everything about this little girl. She is smart,creative, caring, funny, a wonderful big sister, beautiful, loving, the list could go on and on. I am so proud of who she has become and can't wait to watch her continue to grow.
