She did it!!
As a lot of you know, Kylee has an extreme fear of the dentist! It started a few years ago when I took her to her first appointment. The dentist discovered that the enamel never formed on her 4 molars. He fixed them..one at a time. By the 3rd tooth she knew what was going to happen and wasn't having it anymore. That took us to some dental surgery and a pretty nice sized bill. They did a cleaning while she was under..and I am embarrassed to say that was the last time she has had her teeth professionaly cleaned.
I was debating whether or not to take her back to the first dentist, as she made quite the scene the last time she was there. I broke down and called...once I told them her name, they actually said "um, hang on just a second." I was afraid she would tell me she couldn't come back. But they took her back. I actually had to cancel her appointment a few weeks ago to her being sick.
So I took her out of school early today and off we went. I could tell she was super nervous. When she sat in the chair she became little Miss Chatterbox. She was cracking me up the whole time! They were all so nice and made it easy on Kylee. I was nervous since it had been so long, but they said her teeth look great and she joined the Cavity Free Club!! I was so proud of her!!
On a side note--I was giving her a bath tonight and she HATES when I have to wash her hair. She asked if I had to before she got in and I said yes. She started crying. Then she said "Why are you being so mean to me when I was so good at the dentist?" Funny how washing your child's hair has become mean! :0)

Weekend
Friday night we hung out with my friend Crystal. Kylee loves hanging out with her...I do too. :c) We enjoyed pizza at her sister's house and then ran a few errands.
Saturday we all (Foss', Munger's, and us) went to Linder Farms. We had never been there before and it was pretty fun! The kids all had a blast! I didn't get too many pictures before my batteries died, but I added a photo album to the side of the ones I was able to get. After lunch at Wendy's, I dropped Kylee off at her dad's for the remainder of the weekend. I came home and finished up some homework. I then went out for the first time in 6 months with no kids!! I enjoyed a yummy dinner with Crystal and some of her friends. They all went on to the Haunted World, but it was getting late so I got Baby M and headed home to finish up some homework.
Today started with church. I then did some much needed cleaning followed by some grocery shopping. Now both the kids are fast asleep and I think I am going to join them!!

Blah Part 3??
Yes there really is a part 3 to our blahness.
Kylee has been wanting to spend the night at Grandma and Bob's for a while. Since Maleigha, we just don't do it as often as we used to. So Friday afternoon we headed over there. Kylee chose Red Robin for dinner (good choice Bean!). After dinner we headed back to my parents. Maleigha just wasn't acting like herself that day. Andrea attempted to take her pictures and she got 1 good one I think. Maleigha just wasn't having it. She really wasn't acting too hungry and was pretty clingy all day. Nighttime rolls around and she will not let me lay her down without her freaking out. I kept trying a bunch of things. At one point I tried feeding her again and she just lost it. She was feeling pretty warm to me so I decided to check her temp. It was 100.8 under the arm--which they tell you to add a few degrees when you take it that way. With her not wanting to lay flat and her high temp, I was thinking she had an ear infection. So its about 320am and off to the ER we go. I do have to give a shout out to this place. Not just because I work for St Als, but we were the only patient there and they were all SO nice! They have only been opened at that location for about a year now so they have a little smaller patient load. So if you ever need to go to the ER, go there! We were out of there within 30 minutes if not less. No ear infection, but the DR thought it was a viral infection. I kept Tylenol in her all day Saturday, giving it to her every 4 hours. Even with that she still had her fever. Her poor eyes just made me want to cry. She ate maybe 3 times that whole day. She just wasn't herself. I called her DR and she told me to do Motrin and Tylenol. Even with both, her fever wasn't breaking. Friday night and last night, I had to sleep holding her. She just wanted to be held all weekend..which I was fine with!
Today she was more herself, but still not 100%. I think her fever is finally starting to go away. She is laying down in my bed without me holding her so that is a plus! I am hoping she is back to her normal self soon!
Now onto Kylee. She has had a nasty cough since last Friday. I was giving her cough medicine but nothing was helping. It would be worse at night and keep her up for hours. I gave in Friday and took her to the Urgent Care at the Meridian Health Plaza. They diagnosed her with a sinus infection and put her on anti biotics. Her cough is still there but finally going away and she can sleep at night! Poor kids!!
Kylee starts back on track with school tomorrow. She is not excited to go. She keeps saying all the do are "bo-ing (boring) tests." BUT, she did make a card for her teacher tonight so I think she secretly is excited to go back!

Blah Part 2
If you have read her blog, you know that they weren't feeling to hot. We aren't either. Kylee has had a cold for a week now with a horrible cough that keeps her up at night. Last night she coughed so hard she threw up. I think it may be time to get her checked out.
Maleigha has a stuffy nose and I have an upset belly. I had today off to spend with Kylee before she goes back to school, but I don't think we will be doing much! Andrea is going to take Maleigha's 6 month pictures this afternoon, other than that we are going to lay low and hopefully get all better!
On a side note--have you checked out my ticker?? 7 lbs gone since Monday!! Weight Watchers really does work, I just have to stick with it!

Blah.
That is what I felt like after stepping on the scale this morning. I had done so good after I had Maleigha and had lost most of my weight. Now I have put some of it back on. So this morning I went back on Weight Watchers. I am not doing the meetings and all that but I have all the materials. I did good today so hopefully I will keep up with that.
I put a tracker to the side so I can update my progress on here. Hopefully that will add some motivation knowing that people are going to be watching how I do!!
