I am taking a leave from blogger land and the computer in general for a while. Today and tomorrow I need to focus on packing up the play room while Kylee is gone...get rid of the toys she will never know are gone while she is gone. She returns on Sunday...YAHOO!!! So I am going to spend Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday focusing on the two girls. Then Wednesday it is back to work for me.
I will leave you all with a cute video of Maleigha I took the other day...at least I think it is cute!

8 pictures for 8 weeks on the 28th
Thank you Andrea for the catchy title---I am not sure if I remembered it correctly though.
Anyways at my dr appt yesterday (which went very well) they gave me the cutest bracelet for Maleigha. When I got back to Andrea's we put it on her and Andrea snapped some cute pictures. Perfect timing as she is 8 weeks today! She is such a sweet and happy baby. I love that her personality is coming out more and more. She smiles sweet smiles at the sound of my dad's voice. She loves being talked to and loves talking back to you. She holds her head up very well and loves looking around at things. Here are my 8 photos (thank you Andrea)

It's hard for me to think that next week at this time I will be sitting at my desk at work. So sad!
As I said earlier my appt yesterday went very well. It wasn't as bad as I was thinking it would be. I am glad it's over with though and I am hoping it will help. Thank you Andrea for watching Maleigha!

5 more days and other random bits
Five more days until my Bean returns! I cannot wait! She is having a terrific time. I am so glad I decided to let her go!
I was able to go through her whole room today. I packed most of her toys, books, and clothes. I left out what we will need for the next month. I also got rid of A LOT of junk! I plan on doing the same to our playroom later this week.
Tomorrow I go in for my post partum check up. I was supposed to have it 2 weeks ago but we were waiting for this to be shipped. I am having that inserted tomorrow as well to help with my endometriosis. I must admit I am a tad nervous!
This is my last full week of maternity leave. I cannot believe I have to go back to work next week--Wednesday to be exact. I am not looking forward to it. I will miss being at home with both my babies!

Well mom, today is the last day.
That's what Kylee told me this morning. She is headed to Oregon for 9 days with the Munger crew. 9 days without my Bean?!?? I am very sad she is leaving--we have never been apart this long! The longest is 1 night. She is super excited to go and I know she will have a blast. She is excited to stay at Grammy and Papa's (Mike's parents) house and to spend time with them. Kelly has strict instructions to makes sure I get to talk to her everyday!
While she is gone I plan to do some deep cleaning in her room as well as the playroom. We are moving June 28th to a smaller place so we have a lot of junk to get rid of. It is much easier to do while she is not there.
Thank you Kelly for asking Kylee to come. Take good care of her!
On a side note, I had a few wanting to know what flat iron I bought. This is the one. I love it! My other irons worked but not as good and my hair usually looked a little frizzy. This one makes it look shiny...hence the name Infrashine! :0) If you search for it in ebay, I found better results when I just typed in Infrashine.

Happy Mail!!
Since I have been going to Crystal to get my hair cut, I loved how she styled it and how straight she got it. She swore it was all in the iron she used. I decided to invest in the one she uses--I use one almost everyday. I found one that is the same brand she uses on EBay. I dedcided to bid on it. It was a newer style and it's retail value is $189.00. I won it for $60. I felt bad for spending that much money but after getting it today and seeing it can do this:

to this:

I am in favor of this iron and the $60 I spent on it! Kylee loves it! She keeps looking in the mirror and feeling it. She was sad when I told her it would be curly again once it got wet. Her ends are really dry and straightening it shows me just how much it needs a cutting!!
On a side note--here is a picture I took of my 2 cute girls today:

Pretty girl...
A girl from work gave me this dress that her daughter never wore. Maleigha wore it to church today and looked so cute! (Excuse the poor picture--it is from my phone)

Kylee leaves on Friday for Oregon. Kelly had asked if she could come along on their vacation to the coast...after much thinking I agreed to let her go. I am sad for many reasons and it will be hard to see her go but I know she will have a blast. I will miss my bean!! She is on track break this week so I plan on spending lots of quality time with her before she goes.

Summer???
The weather yesterday, today, and the next few days is making it feel like we jumped right over Spring (my favorite season) and right into Summer. The kids are loving it though. Yesterday we went over to Andrea's and let the kids play in the sprinklers:

It was fun--today I think we will be doing the same!!
Here are the pictures from the horse races:

These next two make me laugh. We were leaving the races but they still had one race left. In between races they would bring the horses over to this area and people would crowd around the fence and decide which one to bet on. As we were leaving Kylee said something and next thing I know this is where she is:

On a side note...did anyone get to watch the New Kids On The Block on the Today Show this morning?!?

6 weeks
I cannot believe it has already been 6 weeks since this little peanut made her arrival. In the past few weeks her personality has started coming out. She smiles a lot, loves to coo, and loves being held--which I don't mind doing!! She is a happy litle girl. She really only cries when she is hungry or tired. When she does cry, it's a sweet, quiet cry. I love it!
I snapped this goofy picture of her while I was at Kelly's today:

That picture doesn't really look like her to me. Here is another one:

Saturday fun....
Sarah and I did the Race for the Cure Saturday morning. Kylee stayed home with my dad--I almost got her to come with us but she changed her mind. We arrived a little late to the race but we were able to complete it. It was fun to be down there in the midst of all the celebration.
Maleigha and I (All you can see is her head):

Sarah and Clayton:

Saturday evening we went to the horse races. Kylee LOVES horses. She had a blast and we plan on going back throughout the summer.
I took pictures but my batteries are dead..I have a headache...the baby is asleep and I am going to get some sleep while I can. I will post them soon.

Sweet 6

I can't believe my baby is 6 years old! The past 6 years has flown by. Kylee is such a sweet girl. She has quite the attitude at times (which I will admit she gets from me) but she has a good heart. She is a big helper and will do anything you ask her to do. She LOVES horses. She has had a passion for horses for as long as I can remember and it has never faded. She loves to color and draw..something she is very good at. She is learning to read and is doing a great job at picking up on it. She has a wonderful memory--something that doesn't always work to my advantage. :0) Kylee is such a blessing and I am so proud she is my daughter!
I started this post around 830 this morning with the intentions of having it posted shortly after I started it...here is it 9pm and I am just finishing it.
We had Kylee's birthday party today. Kelly did all of the work for it..thank you so much!! She came up with a cute candy theme and it was called Kylee's Sweet 6. Everything looked so cute and I was thrilled with the way it all turned out. I have posted pictures from her party in a new album on the side called Kylee's Sweet 6. Thank you Andrea for taking pictures--and editing them!
Thank you again Kelly for all your hard work! I know how much you have going on right now and it means a lot to me and Kylee that you took this on too! You are wonderful!! :0)
After Kylee's party, my mom, dad, and I took Kylee to Red Robin for dinner. When she was small, she would cry whenever they would come out and sing Happy Birthday to anyone. Now she loves it. She almost forgot that they were going to do it and the look on her face when they came out was priceless! Our waiter was wonderful..he put made her stand on the seat, hold the spoon and the ice cream in the air and they all sang to her. I snapped this picture with my phone:

Kylee got a coupon from Build a Bear for her birthday. She wanted to use some of her Birthday money to make something. After dinner I took the girls up to the mall and Kylee chose a dog..which she named Ella. She then went to her dad's for the night.
Happy Birthday Bean!! Hope you had a wonderful day!!

First Kiss
The culprit: Tyler
The victim: Kylee
Yes that's right...Kylee received her first kiss today from a boy at school named Tyler. When she told my mom the story my mom told her she shouldn't let boys kiss her. Kylee told her it was ok and that she gave him a hug.
Oh the joys of a 5 year old...
