Is anyone shocked that I did not post a weekend update?!? Don't worry....I am not doing that now. I can't even remember what I did this last weekend.
Not too much has been going on. As of Friday afternoon Kylee and Garrett are on track break for 3 weeks. Good timing since the weather has not been all that great lately and doesn't look like it is going to get much better. I know I am beyond ready for Spring to get here. I have already voiced how much I dislike driving in the snow. I do feel I have gotten a lot of practice this year and have done pretty well. Seeing as I am still alive and in one piece, I feel pretty good.
The only other thing worth writing about at the moment is that Thursday night is going to be a happy night. LOST is coming back! Now a few of you know my mishap with Netflix and Season 3 of Lost...I am trying to get caught up as fast as I can. I will have to record the first 2 weeks but I am so excited to watch it. Speaking of getting caught up...I did receive a disc in the mail that I am going to attempt to get through tonight. I am pretty sleepy so we will see how long I last!

I am odd...this I know.
So I have a couple of odd habits. One is I am addicted to looking at the Ada County Website to see who got arrested. I do this daily. Odd...yes. Amusing...oh yeah!!
The other habit I have is in the winter time I am addicted to looking at this site. I always choose custom cams and then view the following cameras:
*Cabbage Hill
*Meacham Westbound
*Meacham Eastbound
Now you may be wondering why I would be addicted at looking at those cams. As most of you know, I HATE driving in the snow. I see pics like this:

And I am thankful I do not have to drive on roads like that!!
I am sure I have MANY more odd habits---but those are just two that I am willing to share/admit to!

Oh look...another weekend post!
Yes I have been very bad at blogging this week but trust me you didn't miss much between last Sunday and this Sunday!! We had a very relaxing weekend...here are some highlights:
Friday:
Friday night we just stayed home and relaxed. We had dinner and watched the Swan Princess.
Saturday:
After sleeping in until 915 Saturday morning, we got up and were rather lazy. We ate breakfast and played with some of Kylee's toys. We met up with my friend Sarah at Red Robin for lunch. Kylee then went to her dad's for the night. I met my parents at Edwards and watched The Bucket List with them...very good movie!! Thanks for the ticket...and the popcorn...and the pop! :0) I headed home to a sad, empty house. I hate when Kylee is gone. I have a hard time sleeping when she isn't here. I put in the show Heroes that I got from Netflix and watch all the episodes on there. I finally decided to go to bed around midnight.
Sunday:
Today I slept in until 10!! Yes 10 am! It felt good. I got up and started cleaning. I got all of my cleaning done---I LOVE a clean house. I sat down at watched some Gilmore Girls and then headed over to Christy's. We then ran to Qboda for lunch/dinner. I had never been there but it was very good! Their burritos are HUGE! I only ate half and will eat the other half later. It was fun to just sit and talk and watch Ethan. He is so cute. It's hard to believe he will be 1 soon!
Now I am just waiting for my Kylee Bean to get home!

Why do these two days always go by so fast?!?
I hate how the weekends always fly by!! Even when you are not doing anything they zoom right on by and next thing you know it is Monday morning!!
Here's our weekend recap:
Friday:
After I picked up Kylee on Friday we headed home for a relaxing evening. We ate a yummy dinner of homemade (not by me!!) tomato soup and sandwiches. We then snuggled on the couch and watched the Tom and Jerry movie she got from Netflix. I usually let Kylee stay up a little late on Friday nights....we both headed to bed around 915. She fell fast asleep and I think I finally dozed off around 945.
Saturday:
After our 12 hour rest--yes we didn't wake up until 930 Saturday morning...we both felt refreshed. Andrea had called and we decided to let the kiddos play and do some scrapbooking. After a quick run to Walmart to pick up some new contacts (from the not so friendly eye lady I might add) and some pictures we were back at Andrea's house ready to scrap. I got about 5 layouts done. We all headed over to mom and dad's for a Saturday night dinner. Dad is going to be out of town for most of January so we squeezed in a dinner while he was home. After we got home Kylee headed to bed and I stayed up and watched the movie I got from Netflix--We are Marshall. It was a pretty good movie.
Sunday:
Today started off with church. We woke up and got ready in time for the 930 service. We left after church and had a yummy lunch with Grandma and Bob at Blue Sky Bagel. I dropped Kylee off at her dad's and I ran some errands. I first went to Toys R Us and got Kylee 2 games for her Pixtar for a grand total of $4.98!! Thanks Andrea for the heads up! My next stop was Archiver's. I got a few things---all of it on sale and even got some cardstock for free!! I then ran back to Walmart where I picked up some things I forgot the day before and some things I of course probably don't need. I even GOT MY OIL CHANGED!! Yes dad, I finally did it. I have the receipt for proof too!! While I was waiting for Andrea to get home I decided to run by JcPenney. I was able to find some cute pants for Kylee for $5.99 and a matching shirt for $4.19. I even got some new underwear for myself at a whopping $1.79 a piece. I then headed back to Jeff and Andrea's and did some more scrapping. This time I did 3 more layouts. This is the most I have scrapped in a long time and am now only about a year and a half behind. YIKES!!!
After we got home tonight we had some quick homework to do. Who knew homework with a 5 year old could be so hard?!? It brought back memories of math homework during my high school years. Kylee's project was she had to pick an animal and learn some things about it and then pick something to do with the items she learned. There was a list of options and she chose to write a book. I thought this would be simple seeing as she loves to draw and color. I forgot the small detail of her need to have everything perfect. It was quite the process but we finally got about 5 pages done. Thankfully!!
Hope you all had as wonderful of a weekend as we did!!

It's a love/hate thing....
That is the relationship I have with snow!! I love it but at the same time I HATE it!! The only time you will ever hear me say I am so glad it is snowing is when I do not have to drive in it. It has always been a big fear of mine. I am ok for the most part when I am driving by myself but when I have Kylee in the car with me, I am much more worried. I am afraid something will happen to her and it just drives me nuts. So needless to say, when it snows you won't see me on the road unless I have to be!! I must say I have been a little more adventurous this winter and have driven in it and surprisingly survived!
All I have to say is....I am ready for SPRING!!!!

Our weekend....
was nothing too exciting! Friday night Kylee stayed the night at her dad's. I decided to have a night in by myself. I have the first 6 seasons of Gilmore Girls so I decided to have myself a Gilmore Girls Marathon. When all was said and done and I actually sat down to watch it...I didn't make it very far. I think I may it halfway through the first disc of Season 1.
Saturday morning I go up and was again lazy--I watched some more Gilmore Girls and then decided to use a coupon for a free coffee at Dutch Brothers. I was not too impressed but I think it may have been the girl making it. I ran by Fred Meyer for a few things, met Kelly to get a VERY cute outfit she had gotten for Kylee and then went and got Kylee. Kylee had a hard night at her dad's and was very tired and I had a huge headache. So I made some dinner and we watched a Dora movie she got from Netflix.
This morning we woke up to snow. We decided to stay in from church...after just a few hours I knew it was going to be a long day for both of us if I didn't get Kylee out of the house. So we went over to Jeff and Andrea's. Kylee and Maddy played out in the snow while Andrea and I ran to Walmart. We came back and the girls played for a little longer and Kylee and I finally went home. Thank you for letting us come over!!
We just finished dinner and are getting ready for Monday. Kylee heads back to school tomorrow and is super excited. I am excited because it is FINALLY a new episode of Desperate Housewives!!
**On a side note...I know my banner is off on my computer at home. When I check it at work it looks fine. I have posted a poll below. Please take it and let me know if the banner is off on your PC too.
Thanks! :0)
