Mother's Day

I love being a mom. I am lucky to have a great mom and to be a mom to two wonderful little girls.
Our day started out at 7am. Kylee woke up, came into my room, and said "Happy Mother's Day mommy" Oh it just melted my heart. She quickly remembered she had  a gift for me that she made in school so she asked if she could go get it. She came back with this bookmark:

She then handed me this card (which she said she made in the car on the way to her dad's Friday...I can't even draw this good sitting down at a table let alone a moving car!)
She then handed me this book:

This is what the inside said:

I love it! I love getting gifts like this. They mean so much!
We then had a great time at church, listened to a wonderful sermon on being a mom. After church we headed out to grandma and Bob's for a yummy lunch and relaxing day:
(That is me sleeping with Kylee snuggled up next to me and Maddy next to Kylee)
Goofing around with this little girl:
Thank you to my mom for being the best mom a girl could ask for. Thank you for your unconditional love and showing me how to be a great mom. I love you.
To Kylee and Maleigha: Thank you for being great children. I love being your mom and wouldn't have it any other way. I hope I am able to be as good of a mom as my mom is.

9!

I can't believe she is 9!
I love my little Kylee Bean! There are so many words that I can use to describe her. Easy going, smart, beautiful, talented, sweet, calm, and the list can go on and on. I am so grateful that I am able to be her mother. She is such an easy child and a wonderful big sister. She has a love for drawing (which she is very good at), reading, and animals. She has a big heart and would do anything for anyone. She is a great role model for her little sister. Since we have been going to Bridgepoint, I have enjoyed watching her love for the Lord blossom and have enjoyed watching her grow in His word.
We celebrated her birthday on Saturday. Thanks to Kelly for planning and organizing it all--she did a great job and Kylee loved it. To see pictures from her party, click here.
Happy Birthday baby girl!! I love you lots and lots!!
