Summer Fun!

Kylee returns to school in just about a little over 2 weeks (August 11 to be exact). I can't believe that her summer break is almost over and she will officially be a THIRD grader! My baby is growing up way too fast!!

We have had a F.U.N summer! Visits from Binga, Aunt Brenda, lots of cousin time, a trip to Roaring Springs in a few days and many more fun times. We had a mommy and Kylee day Saturday. We went school supply shopping, went to lunch and then we went and saw Ramona and Beezus (super cute). We had a good day. I have next Thursday and Friday off to spend with them before Kylee heads back, I am sure we will find something fun to do!

Maleigha has started potty training!! So far, so good. She has had the expected accidents, but she has been so good at trying and willing to give this a go.  She was so funny to watch when she first put on her big girl underwear. She kept touching her bum, I am sure these are much more comfy than diapers...Hopefully this will be an easy transition!

BINGA!!! (oh and did I mention, Happy 4th of July)

We all love when Binga comes to visit! She came last Thursday and will leave this Thursday..the time has gone by way too fast.
We had a great 4th of July and a great time celebrating Garrett's 8th birthday!

I love the relationship these two have, they are best buds! Kylee made him a cute card for his birthday. At the end of the card she wrote Oh and did I mention, Happy 4th of July. It made me laugh!

After Garrett's birthday party, we set of some fireworks. Kylee has never been a huge fan of fireworks,but they have grown on her as she has gotten older. Miss Maleigha on the other hand, LOVED them! She was a little scary waving around the sparklers, but nobody got hurt. ;)
After we that, we went with Jeff and Andrea to Jeff's work to watch the fireworks at Meridian Speedway. We had  a great time, thanks Jeff and Andrea for letting us tag along!
