I hate how the weekends always fly by!! Even when you are not doing anything they zoom right on by and next thing you know it is Monday morning!!
Here's our weekend recap:
Friday:
After I picked up Kylee on Friday we headed home for a relaxing evening. We ate a yummy dinner of homemade (not by me!!) tomato soup and sandwiches. We then snuggled on the couch and watched the Tom and Jerry movie she got from Netflix. I usually let Kylee stay up a little late on Friday nights....we both headed to bed around 915. She fell fast asleep and I think I finally dozed off around 945.
Saturday:
After our 12 hour rest--yes we didn't wake up until 930 Saturday morning...we both felt refreshed. Andrea had called and we decided to let the kiddos play and do some scrapbooking. After a quick run to Walmart to pick up some new contacts (from the not so friendly eye lady I might add) and some pictures we were back at Andrea's house ready to scrap. I got about 5 layouts done. We all headed over to mom and dad's for a Saturday night dinner. Dad is going to be out of town for most of January so we squeezed in a dinner while he was home. After we got home Kylee headed to bed and I stayed up and watched the movie I got from Netflix--We are Marshall. It was a pretty good movie.
Sunday:
Today started off with church. We woke up and got ready in time for the 930 service. We left after church and had a yummy lunch with Grandma and Bob at Blue Sky Bagel. I dropped Kylee off at her dad's and I ran some errands. I first went to Toys R Us and got Kylee 2 games for her Pixtar for a grand total of $4.98!! Thanks Andrea for the heads up! My next stop was Archiver's. I got a few things---all of it on sale and even got some cardstock for free!! I then ran back to Walmart where I picked up some things I forgot the day before and some things I of course probably don't need. I even GOT MY OIL CHANGED!! Yes dad, I finally did it. I have the receipt for proof too!! While I was waiting for Andrea to get home I decided to run by JcPenney. I was able to find some cute pants for Kylee for $5.99 and a matching shirt for $4.19. I even got some new underwear for myself at a whopping $1.79 a piece. I then headed back to Jeff and Andrea's and did some more scrapping. This time I did 3 more layouts. This is the most I have scrapped in a long time and am now only about a year and a half behind. YIKES!!!
After we got home tonight we had some quick homework to do. Who knew homework with a 5 year old could be so hard?!? It brought back memories of math homework during my high school years. Kylee's project was she had to pick an animal and learn some things about it and then pick something to do with the items she learned. There was a list of options and she chose to write a book. I thought this would be simple seeing as she loves to draw and color. I forgot the small detail of her need to have everything perfect. It was quite the process but we finally got about 5 pages done. Thankfully!!
Hope you all had as wonderful of a weekend as we did!!

CONGRATULATIONS! and thank you.
Wow, for a second there I thought dad started a blog...maybe he is working on it :)
It was great to get some scrappin' done this weekend. Thanks for coming over.
This has nothing to do with your post but who's Heather and why do you and Andrea both seem to know her but I don't? I noticed she has a Garrett too.
Well, lets see those LOs! And where was my scrapbooking invite?
