No creative heading...

All my creativity has left me for the day and that is as good as my title is going to get. Onto the infamous weekend update:

Friday:
Kylee went to her dad's Friday and I enjoyed a nice evening at home. I ran to Fred Meyer to get some things to make Fajitas--Kylee won't eat them so I only make them when she is gone. I found a cute outfit for her while I was there. Their clearance was an extra 60% off. After I made dinner, I sat down and FINALLY finished my last disc of Lost from NetFlix---now I just have to watch the first 3 episodes from this season and I will be all caught up!!

Saturday:
I started the day with breakfast with my friend Katrina at Cafe De CoCo...I am loving this place! It's a cute little cafe down on 13th street in Nampa. I highly recommend it!! After breakfast I went and got my hair done. One of the girls who works for me also does hair. She put in blonde and some red highlights and then just trimmed my hair. I LoVe it! She did such a good job. She also did moms hair in between mine. It turned out really good. I will try to post a picture later this week.
After my hair, I picked up Kylee from her dads. They had quite the weekend. He took her to the horse expo down at the fairgrounds (wonderful suggestion from yours truly) Friday night. Saturday they went to the book store and then to see Water Horse. They both really liked it.
We then headed over to Ethan's birthday party. I still can't believe he is 1 yrs old already. Christy did a WoNdErFuL job on his cake and the whole party. Everyone had fun.

Sunday:
I will admit I skipped church today. No real reason...just decided to stay home this morning. After we got ready we ran to JcPenneys. I need some new dress shoes for work. Almost all of their clearance stuff is now marked down to at least $7.97. I found a cute pair of shoes for Kylee for $3.97, some shoes that are now a part of Andrea's birthday present for $3.97, new shoes for me--they were on sale but not that great of a deal, a shirt for me for $4.97, and a couple of other things. The best part was when she handed me my receipt and said "You saved a total of $117.11 today" I told her I loved hearing that!
After shopping we met the Foss crew and mom and dad at Blue Sky for lunch. After lunch we headed back to the Foss's and Andrea and I were able to get some scrapbooking in. I will try to post pictures of my layouts (I think I did 8 layouts) later this week as well.
Once we got home, Kylee and I worked on some of her homework. She had to read some things back to me...I was so impressed on how good she was reading. Here is a little video of her reading skills:

I will add another video of her tying her shoes later this week as well!

**Thank you Andrea for my new banner!! I love it!!

Great job Bean! I still can't believe her and G are able to read already. I can't wait to see Maddy do the same.

Thanks for hanging out today. I still need to go and finish that LO...just got wrapped up in doing other things ;0)

Sounds like a good weekend! You need to take me to this new cafe.

Can you believe how great they're doing at reading & writing? It makes me so proud when I hear them reading!
