Stress

I was at work today talking with my friend Katrina. We were discussing how I do not deal with stress very well. It's true. I like to internalize everything until I can't hold it in anymore...and then I become rather grumpy. Yes sisters (Kelly and Andrea), I know you are wanting to make some comment about that statement.

Anyways, I need some advice on how to handle stress. How do you handle stress?

Personally, I drive my freinds and family crazy by talking their ears off when I'm stressed about something- but hey...I'm mentally healthier in the long run ;) No, really, I talk it out. Even if the person I am talking to you doesn't know what to say, just talking about it usually helps me solve whatever is on my mind. Hope that helps! I hear exercise works too- I wouldn't know!

I work out, haha not really.
I'm like Cassie, I talk it out with others and I pray about it.
Is there anything I can do to help?

Put the kids to bed...have a big glass of wine, watch a some tv while drinking your wine then take a nice bath....

Prayer is my #1 effective outlet for stress. He does know what's going on and is a pretty good one to rely on for help :)

I have anxiety so I read this book, calm my anixious heart. It's a very good book and helps me realize that most of the time, I am stressing for no reason. Of course one of my most favorite things to relieve stress is shopping and/or taking a bath and eating chocolate in the tub. Very effective.
