After I had Maleigha and they were finishing things up on me, I heard the doctor say something to one of her assistants about how she saw a mass and was wondering what she should do about it. They had already taken my mom and the baby out of the room so I was laying there by myself listening to her talk about this mass. The mass soon turned into the word tumor. That's when I started worrying. She decided to take some of it to biopsy.
While I laid there thinking about this tumor, I next hear this:
"Kimberly, has anyone ever diagnosed you with endometriosis?"
Uh no but I am assuming you just did--that's what was running through my head by I simply just said no.
Once she finally got me put back together I was wheeled off to the recovery room. She came in later to say that she found a tumor on my ovary that she took a sample of and it was sent to the lab. She also said that I have what she thinks is endometriosis all over. She also took a sample of that and sent it to the lab.
So...the good news is the tumor is benign. The expected news is the other sample did come back as endometriosis. I have a 2 week follow up appointment on Wednesday and she will talk to me more about it when I go in.
I finally got the pictures from my camera. I have created a photo album--titled 'Maleigha' on the right side. In looking at those pictures, I can't believe how much she has changed in such a short time.
Here is the video of Kylee reading--with some help from my mom. She LOVES to read and is doing such an awesome job with it. I am so proud of her!!

Those pictures of Kylee and her baby sister are so precious - what a loving big sis!
We're praying for you & the docs in deciding what to do about the tumor and the endometriosis. As much fun as a C-section isn't, it's a good thing you had one. When things like this happen, it makes me realize how in control God really is you know?
I'm sad Graham's been sick and we haven't been able to come see Maleigha. And you I suppose. :) We'll come over next week when the kids are in school.
She couldn't be any cuter! Please keep us updated and let us know what the dr's say. I was thinking the same thing that Kelly said, it's a good thing now that you had a C-section.
I miss that baby cakes! Wanna come over one day this week so I can take pictures?
